Long ago a man came into this world; thus creating the idea of a "Blog"! While his idea was magnificent in the eyes of the world's current "obsessive" bloggers, to others "cough cough me cough cough" I'm sure it sounded quite silly! Yes, I said it. I used to think that having a blog was a ridiculous waste of time. Although over a certain period of time, I adjusted to the idea and feel of having a blog, I used to crack jokes about them continuously. It's still somewhat hazy to me on why I began to want a blog, but now evident on why anyone would want a blog. The first reason somebody would want a blog, is so they could write about their problems on the Internet and express their feelings and emotions through the wonderful thing we know as the "Internet". These kind of people are most likely very dramatic, and somewhat insane. Notice I said "somewhat" not "completely", but "somewhat". The second reason anyone would want a blog is because they're lonely. They think cyberspace is their friend and they are more than pleased that it will now allow you to publicly post your current events as if you were really talking to someone out there on the net. And last but not least people have way too much time on your hands.- Do you constantly find yourself blogging on the go?
- Do you itch to blog while you're trying to fall asleep at night?
- If something big or dramatic were to happen would you feel urged to blog about it?
If you answered "yes" to these questions then you are this type of blogger. Your personality is a perfect fit for addiction. You may be or may become what is called a "Blog addict"! Let me tell you now, Seek Help While You can!!!! It's always the best policy for addictive bloggers.
I understand how you feel right now. You have just been classified into an assortment of extremely unique blogging personality group. While you may feel like I am prejudice to your blogging urges and needs, I am simply informing you. An interesting project of mine. Other kinds of bloggers might fall into categories that should seem separated from the three I listed above, but as each group branches out to cover one-third of my worded blogging pie chart, you must fall somewhere in between the fine little white lines that nobody ever cares to notice.
I can recall a memory at the beginning of the school year. I was in my 4th period newspaper class while my enthusiastic teacher Mrs. G explained what we'd be doing in her class this semester as freshman. "Do we have any bloggers in here?" She asked the class. At the time, I had had a blog, but I didn't care to raise my hand and be the odd one out. The sheep in a pack of wolves. The red one in a sea of blue. I shrugged and ducked down in my seat. My two friends Amy and Mariah ah glanced at each other. Suddenly we were caught up in a conversation of giggles, and the blossoming idea to start a "Headache Blog". The thought was raw, but had potential. Our Headache Blog lies dormant in our bright young prosperous minds, just waiting to be brought to life by the wonders of the Net. Yes yes, the idea was a joke, but one that I've always considered... Should I create this blog? Should I not? How would I manage both? How can I even blog about headaches if I don't get them that often?
All questions have been considered although only half listed. It's still pending in my thought processes, and quite frankly I might even be confused about it. Other than that, all has been good and clear. No elaborations and details needed, just me, myself, and I having a spirited debate about how life is so confusing...
